Product constraint
Shopify merchants using KiriminAja needed to create shipments and receive tracking updates without leaving the Shopify admin. The application also had to follow Shopify's embedded app and interface conventions.
Application structure
We built the app with Remix and React. Polaris provides the interface components inside Shopify admin, while the server routes connect Shopify orders to KiriminAja logistics APIs.
Google Pub/Sub carries shipment status changes back into the application. This keeps order and tracking updates asynchronous instead of holding merchant actions open while logistics systems respond.
Integrations
The app connects Shopify order workflows to KiriminAja and its logistics partners through REST APIs. It supports order fulfillment, shipment creation, tracking synchronization, and status notifications.
My role
I worked with the team on the application structure, API integration, embedded Shopify behavior, and the update flow between logistics services and merchant orders.
