Operating context
Our team maintained the back-office system for the Kecamatan Berdaya program in Central Java. Local administrators needed one place to manage citizen data, program records, documents, reporting, and access for different government roles.
System boundaries
The application uses Nuxt and Vue for the administrative interface, Laravel for the API, and MySQL for program data. REST endpoints separate the frontend from the back-office domain logic.
The system covers:
- Citizen registration and data management
- Program implementation tracking
- Administrative reporting
- Access control for different roles
- Official document storage
- Integration with existing government systems
Engineering work
As core maintainers, we handled feature delivery, security updates, performance work, and changes requested by administrators. The main constraint was protecting sensitive records while keeping routine administrative flows understandable for users with different responsibilities.
The team used reusable Vue components for the admin interface and kept authorization rules in the Laravel application boundary. Database and API changes had to account for existing program data and reporting flows.
Result
The system was deployed for the Kecamatan Berdaya program and used by administrators across participating districts in Central Java. Our team continued to maintain it as program requirements changed.
