A Fresh Start with yan.ad

If you’ve followed my journey, you might know I have a bit of a habit: changing my domain name! From yanuar.co to yanuar.dev and a few others in between, my online presence has always been evolving. But today, I’m excited to announce that yan.ad is here to stay as my professional portfolio page.

Why yan.ad?

I wanted a domain that’s short, memorable, and truly represents my personal brand. After experimenting with several options, yan.ad felt like the perfect fit for my portfolio and future projects.

A Sad News: Why Not yanu.ar or yanuar.id?

Some of you might wonder why I didn’t go with yanu.ar or yanuar.id. Unfortunately, yanu.ar is not only more expensive, but it’s also a bit harder to pronounce for Indonesian speakers. As for yanuar.id, it’s sadly already taken by someone else out of nowhere. So, I decided to go with something that’s both practical and easy to remember.

This new site is crafted using the latest technologies:

• Nuxt.js 3 for a fast, modern web experience
• Tailwind CSS for utility-first, responsive styling
• Material 3 Expressive Design for a clean, accessible, and visually appealing interface

Professional Email & Hosting

To keep things professional, I’ve set up my email using Zoho Mail—so you can always reach me at me@yan.ad. The site itself is hosted on Vercel, ensuring fast load times and reliable uptime.
